Thanks to modern day washing machines and detergents you no longer need to boil your laundry. A lower temperature still gets the job done, while putting less stress on your clothing and the environment. Try to wash clothing at 30c.

Cool washes at 30°C or lower are good for delicate fabrics, but if you need to wash garments that are more durable such as cotton you may want to use a warm wash temperature setting instead for more effective results. 40°C is a popular temperature setting that can be used for most everyday items, when you need to remove tougher stains, and when you’re washing heavily-soiled garments.

Caring for Silk:

If washing SILK or product made with NATURAL COLOURS, specific care is required.

Fill a clean sink or small tub with lukewarm water and a small amount of delicate-friendly liquid detergent. Lightly agitate for three to five minutes and rinse well. If machine washing, choose a gentle, cold-water cycle.

Any stained clothing should be handled by a professional at the dry cleaners.

Be very careful when ironing items made with silk - use a cool setting and iron when slightly damp. Then allow to fully dry on a padded hanger.
